Mark Anthony ("Big Bear") Osley

Mark “Big Bear” Anthony Osley was born March 17th, 1982, in Toledo, OH, to his loving parents Willie Richards and Lovie Osley. He earned his wings October 16th, 2024, surrounded by his sisters and favorite nephew.

Mark loved playing video games and shooting pool, making everyone around him laugh and feel happy. Even though he was experiencing an enormous amount of health challenges and other things, he never complained. He kept what he was going through to himself and focused on cheering up others. He was full of love and thought by many to be a kind and gentle giant dedicating his life to friends and family.  

He is predeceased by his parents Willie and Lovie, and sister Pauline. Mark leaves to cherish his memories: son, Chance Ramos of Miami, Florida; sisters Jean, Tewanda, Jeanette, Mary-Ann, Andrina, and brother Lawrence Osley; and sisters Lee-Ann, Alice, and Gloria Richards; and a host of relatives and loved ones who cherished him.

Big Bear’s family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home located at 1757 Tremainsville Rd., Monday, October 28th from 11 am to 1 pm with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 1 pm.
