Mirna Zoila (Tarin) Nevarez

Mirna Zoila Nevarez passed away January 7, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 68. She was born August 22, 1955 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose and Graciela (Tejada) Tarin and eight siblings.

Mirna moved to Toledo in 1991 with her family. She got a job at Promedica Toledo Hospital in sterile processing where she was still working for the last 25 years.

Mirna loved to cook with her husband Ysaul and watch Spanish soap operas. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family especially her granddaughter Ava, whom she adored.

Mirna is preceded in death by her son Israel and is survived by her husband Ysaul; son Ysaul (Jamie) and granddaughter Ava.

Her family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Friday from 4 – 7 PM where funeral prayers will be offered Saturday at 8:30 AM followed by Funeral Mass in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church 738 S. St. Clair St. Toledo, OH 43609 at 9 AM.
