Odessa Yavette Bell

Odessa Yavette Bell, affectionately known as Dessi and Gus, was born February 11, 1985 in Toledo, Ohio to Vetta Bryant Lee and Marion Bell, Sr..Dessi and her mom were taken away suddenly on July 20, 2022 at home. She was educated in Toledo Public Schools graduating from Libbey High. Dessi worked in several restaurants becoming manager of some; which is a work she loved. She also enjoyed braiding hair and spending time with her daughter who she loved dearly. Much like her mom, Dessi loved the “spring break” trips they took as a family. Like mother, like daughter...she also always partied hearty on her birthdays, eating good and dancing the night away! Dessi was preceded in death by her grandmother, Odessa C. Bell; uncles, Glen Jackson and Dwight C. Bell and aunt, Regina L. Qualls. Dessi is lovingly survived by her daughter, Eddijah Scott; father, Marion (Sheila) Bell, Sr.; sisters: Arnisha Nash, Alicia Bell and D-Nysia Bell; brothers: Jeffery Kelson, Marion Bell, Jr., Paul Bell and many other loving relatives and friends.
