Patricia Darlene (Cassady) Tiller

Patricia Darlene Tiller passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020.  She was born on July 30th, 1956 to Thomas and Marcella Cassady.  She attended and graduated from Whitmer High School in Toledo, OH.  Patti was a mom, a daughter, a sister, a grandma, and a friend!! She loved unconditionally and without judgement. Her smile and laugh were contagious, and she gave the best hugs!  She worked in the health care field for most of her life, and loved advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities.  She loved to read, and could finish a book in 24 hrs. Green thumb?  Yep, she had that too, I could ask her about flowers and plants and she always had the answer.  I can still smell the banana bread, homemade biscuits, and gravy (all that southern food) she loved to bake. Omelets, oh man did she do those up. We would meet at Bob Evans every time her grandchildren and I visited. She absolutely loved Peppermint Patties (but would only eat them after they were in the freezer), pickles, and cheese.  She also had a snack bin (only for her grandchildren...of course filled with all the snacks they weren’t allowed to have at home).  She always told me to use lotion (Oil of Olay), make sure I put on lip gloss, and be kind to everyone! She loved music as well.  We would listen to some oldies all day and sing out of tune! Her two grandchildren, Regan Grace and Olivia Paige, were her pride and joy. She saved every picture, craft, and coloring page they ever made for her.

She is survived by her devoted children, Jason and Staci (Jason) Keeton, and her loving grandchildren, Regan and Olivia.  She also leaves her brothers, Patrick Tammerine, Marc Cassady, and Bo / Haskell Vinson; her sister Teresa Tammerine, and many cousins and lifelong friends.  Patti is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marcella and brother, Thomas Cassady.

Her Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday June 20, 2020 after 1 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3 PM.
