Patrick Thomas Glynn

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Thomas Glynn, at the age of 78, on April 16, 2025. Patrick, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Patrick is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Mary, his loving children Angela, Eric (Roxanne), Ryan, and Joel (Susie), and his adored grandchildren, Madeline and Gabriella Paracchini, and Emily Glynn. He was born on November 22, 1946, to Thomas and Helen Glynn, and was the eighth of fourteen siblings.

A lifelong fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Patrick’s enthusiasm for his team was infectious, and he loved to share that passion with family and friends. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—cooking and entertaining loved ones and creating memories that will be cherished forever. Patrick also enjoyed traveling and was especially fond of the special moments spent with his granddaughters, hosting tea parties that will forever be a treasured memory.

Patrick's career as an accountant/ controller culminated at Napoleon/Lynx Industries. His hard work, dedication and generosity left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community.

His family will receive friends Tuesday after 10:30 AM in Little Flower Catholic Church followed by Memorial Funeral Mass at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, organizations that were a source of great support to Patrick and his family during his final years.
