Ramon "Ray" Domingo Bocanegra

Ramon "Ray" Domingo Bocanegra passed away Monday December 22, 2025 in his home at the age of 63. He was born July 19, 1963 in Toledo to Domingo and Juanita (Padilla) Bocanegra.

Ray enjoyed sports and was a golden glove boxer. He also loved watching his Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ray had a passion for music and would love to sing and dance as well as play different instruments.

Most of all, Ray loved spending time with his family and ride his bike.

He is survived by his parents Domingo & Juanita Bocanegra; daughters Amanda Bocanegra, Rachel (Chris) Pelley, Victoria Bocanegra and Crystal Bocanegra; grandchildren Emerson Cleghorn and Anthony Byrnes; sisters Corina (Joe) Vasquez, Lena (Art) Rometo, Alice Bocanegra and Christine (Bob) Shipman as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Monday after 3 PM where funeral prayers will be said at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to his family via this website to help offset expenses.
