Renae Burkett

Renae Burkett died unexpectedly on Monday October 3, 2022 in her home in the South End of Toledo at the age of 58. She was born April 3, 1964 in Toledo to Mike & Novella (Logan) Burkett graduating from Bowsher High School in 1982. Renae worked as a teller at Raceway Park throughout the 80’s &90’s, then worked at Heatherdowns Country Club and most recently at Walmart on Glendale.

She enjoyed playing bingo and video gambling. Renae would also enjoy having friends over to party and a good meal.

She is preceded in death by her brother Michael Burkett, Jr. and is survived by her son Zachary Burkett; grandchildren Sienna and Zaida Burkett; parents Mike and Novella Burkett; sister Lisa Burkett; nephew Jackson Hendrix; as well as her furry kids dog Fetty and cat Boo, who also passed on Oct. 6th.

Her family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday after 3 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7 PM.
