Robert "Bob" Lee Bushrow
Obituary
Robert Lee Bushrow of Leesburg, FL and formerly of Toledo passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at UF Health Hospital in Leesburg, Florida at the age of 83.
Bob was born September 24th, 1939 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Grant & Wilma (Miller) Bushrow. He worked for many years as a physical therapy assistant for PT services of Toledo, OH.
On September 4th, 1993, he married Eloise “Ellie” Brunt and they moved to Leesburg, Florida about 24 years ago.
Bob loved to play horseshoes, corn hole, checkers and many other competitive games with his family and friends. Music was his passion whether it was playing his guitar or any other stringed instrument, his harmonica or just singing.
He loved following his Savior Jesus Christ.
Bob is preceded in death by both his parents and sisters Phyllis McCabe & Roberta Fink.
Bob is survived by his wife Ellie; son Rev. Eric Kachur; daughter Robin (David) Lehmann; daughter Jenny (Brian) Gagne; son, Ron (Kim) Bushrow; grandchildren, Kayla, Brooke and Taylor Lehmann, Luke, Jonathan and Daniel Bushrow, Caroline and Joshua Gagne; and 2 great-grandchildren, Connor and Eva.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the UF Leesburg Hospital staff, numerous close friends of Bob and Ellie and countless friends of Bob’s children.
Bob’s family will receive friends Friday at Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. after 3 PM followed by a memorial service 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
