Roger Brendan Carter

Roger Brendan Carter passed away July 12, 2024 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center after sustaining injuries from a motorcycle accident. He was born January 4, 1989 in Toledo to Jenny L Collins and Roger A. Carter.

Roger worked various jobs and loved working with his hands. He enjoyed spending time outside riding his motorcycle. He also loved  a wide variety of music. He also enjoyed researching his family lineage and tracking their history. Most of all, he loved spending quality time with his family and friends, specifically his girlfriend Casey and his children, who he adored.

He is preceded in death by his great grandparents Malon & Bernice Gill, Donald & Dorothy Truman and Ivan & Mabel Carter; grandparents Robert Carter, Lisa Collins and Judith Pfister.

Roger is survived by his children Logan James Carter, Ignacio Caden Carter, Augustine A. Carter and Johnny Carter; girlfriend Casey Alexandrea Burpee; mother Jenny L. Collins; father Roger A. Carter; sisters Keara Carter, Katlin Carter and Cortney (Matt) Fitzgerald; grandmother Diane Carter; grandfathers Paul Pfister and Arlos Collins; aunts Jenni Pfister, Dawnn (Frank) Frahn, Linda Moya, Sonja Collins, Jeanne Carter and Shawna Carter; uncles Rob Collins and Todd Collins; cousins Jesse, Venessa, Tiffani, Monica, Lil Rob, Veronica, Adriana and Nadia and Robert Carter.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Tuesday after 11 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:30 PM with interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial tributes may be made to his family via this website to help offset expenses.
