Ryan Lee McCormack

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Ryan Lee McCormack on New Year’s Day, 2025.

From an early age, Ryan’s infectious laughter and bright smile earned him the nickname “Smiley Riley.” His joyful spirit lit up every room he entered, and his quick wit and lively conversations left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Ryan was the life of the party, always ready with a story, a joke, or a thoughtful insight.

He will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his big heart, and his remarkable intelligence. Ryan had a passion for storytelling and aspired to write scripts—a dream that, given more time, he undoubtedly would have brought to life with his creative spark.

Ryan was preceded in death by his father Michael McCormack, his paternal grandparents, and his maternal grandparents. He leaves behind his loving mother Debra McCormack, his brothers Brandon, Michael, Brent, Tyler, sister Katie, and a large extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will cherish his memory forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Ryan’s honor at Maumee Bay Brewing Lobby room ( 27 Broadway st. Toledo OH, 43604) on February 23rd from 12pm to 4pm. All who knew and loved Ryan are welcome to join in remembering the joy, laughter, and love he brought into our lives.
