Sandra Kay (Smith) Swartz

Sandra Kay Swartz passed away on December 23, 2024 in Merit House CSenior Community at the age of 65. She was born May 8, 1959 in Toledo to Melvin and Irene (Duvall) Smith and graduated from Whitmer High School in 1978.

Sandy was a homemaker who enjoyed playing bingo, getting her hair done and was an avid University of Michigan Football fan.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Mike, Bob and Steve Smith. Sandy is survived by her husband James L. Swartz, Jr.; daughters Jenny (Patrick) Cleghorn and Kristy (Travis) Hinton; grandsons Austin, Jake and Ayden; and grand dog Allie.

Her family will have a Celebration of Life service at a later date. Her family would like to thank Merit House and Heartland Hospice for their care.
