Susan Patrice (Paszko) Geis

Susan Patrice Geis passed away on August 23, 2024 with her loving family and friends by her side after a very courageous battle with lymphoma.  Susan was born on November 20, 1969 to Darlene and Robert Paszko. She grew up in Toledo and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1988. After graduating high school, Susan started working at Mercy St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Susan worked at Mercy’s Outreach Labs before taking a position at the Mercy Sylvania Emergency Center when it opened. In 2018, Susan earned a degree from Mercy College in Health Information Technology and continued to work at Mercy Sylvania Emergency until her Lymphoma changed course in March 2024.

Susan enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially when she was with her two beautiful grand-daughters. Susan loved to attend her sons CYO and high school athletic events. Susan loved the annual family trips to Florida and also enjoyed the trips out to California. Susan had many groups of friends whom she shared many memories with, the St. Catherine’s, St. Joe’s, the Baseball Moms, her St. James fitness friends, Carmel’s crew, and her friends at work.

Susan was one of the most beautiful people inside and out. She had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh and had the ability to brighten anyone’s day. Her beautiful blue eyes, infectious smile, her sense of humor, and compassionate heart will be deeply missed.

Susan is survived by her loving husband, ThomasGeis; son, Alex Geis (Kelli); son, Jacob Geis; son,Matthew Geis; mother, Darlene Paszko;brother, Mark Paszko; sister Jennifer Paszko; and granddaughters, Gabi and Carli Geis. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Paszko.

Her family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sylvania, Ohio on September 6th at 10 AM followed by A Funeral Mass in Celebration of the life of Susan Patrice Geis will be at at 11:00 AM.
