Suzanne Lee (Kovach) Compton

Suzanne Lee Compton passed away on November 21, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer. Suzanne was born in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Florence (Bauman) Kovach on March 30, 1943 and graduated from Central Catholic High School. She worked in several positions in the insurance field before retiring in 2010.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She loved reading, watching soap operas, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved animals, especially her dog Zeus. Suzanne was a kind, generous person filled with optimism and always seeing the best in others.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Florence Kovach, daughter Lori Hodge; brother Joseph Kovach and grandson Sean Prentice. Suzanne is survived by her children Lisa Grant (husband Richard) and William Wagner (husband Michael Mack); grandchildren Nicole, Nathan, Parker and Jared; great grandchildren Trinity, Dylan, Ethan, Trey, Kaden, Camdyen, Bentley, Amirah, Ava and Chance; great great grandchildren Mason and Aiden and sister Sandra Seawick.
Her family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. for a Celebration of Life Saturday Dec. 7th from 1-3 PM.
