Beloved father and husband Thomas Allan Smith II passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 19, 2020, at the age of 33, Thomas was born December 11th, 1987, in Toledo, Ohio. He was raised in east Toledo and attended Waite High School. He considered himself a cook for most of his life, almost always working in kitchens. On March 9th, 2016 he married longtime girlfriend Rebekah Lynn Shadix. He was a proud and loving father to Adriana, Thomas III, and Audrey. Thomas was a deeply passionate person, diving into anything he tried with his whole heart. Comic books, and all things Batman and Joker, he loved creating many different types of art, from spray painting to handcrafting jewelry. He was an avid collector of almost anything he could get his hands on, he also loved classic cars, music was something he leaned on in tough times. He was well known for his entirely inappropriate sense of humor and his deep, infectious laugh. Thomas loved deeply, and was loved deeply by many. He made friends wherever he went. He is survived by his wife, Rebekah Smith, and their children, who were the loves of his life, His parents, Thomas (Missy) and Pamela Smith, grandfather Carl Hinckley, and siblings David, Stevan, James, Anthony, Destiny, Geneva and Gewlissa, also many cousins who will miss him beyond words. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Patsy Hinckley.
Friends and Family are welcome for limited visitation (masks must be worn, 30 guests in the funeral home at a time, and social distancing will be observed inside facilities; please limit visiting to 10 min. or less so others may come in to pay their respects) at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Monday after 4 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 7 PM.
