Thomas Daniel Waggoner

Thomas D. Waggoner, 83 of Toledo passed away on Friday September 6, 2024in University of Toledo Medical College Hospital with his family by his side.  Thomas was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 1, 1941 to Gaines and Ruth (Blossom) Waggoner. 

Thomas worked at Associated Grocery until the plant closed.  He enjoyed fishing with his family and friends, working on cars in his earlier years and loved to listen to Pink Floyd and Kraftwerk.

Thomas is preceded in death by his sons Todd & Troy Waggoner; wife Sandra (McCready) Waggoner; and sister Mary Ann Waggoner.

Thomas is survived by his wife Donna Waggoner; son Ike Waggoner; daughters Molly (Michael) Padgett and Shawn (Jeff) Waggoner, who referred to her father as “Daddy Waggs”; brother Willard Brace, sister Ellen (Jay) Shank and special lifetime “Adopted son” Bill Stuart, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews along with lifelong friends.

 “Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him”.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Wednesday after 4 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 7 PM.
