Timothy Lee Kelsey passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday January 31, 2023 in his home at the age of 57. He was born January 29, 1966 in Toledo to Leonard and Michelle (Gedert) Kelsey and attended Central Catholic High School and graduating from Rogers High School in 1984. While in school, he met the love of his life Raquel Westfall, who unknowingly was doing his English homework. They were together since 1996 and married in 2009.
He enjoyed driving trucks and dump trucks for various different companies over the years. He was known to tinker and enjoyed fixing things around the house.
Tim was known to tell a good story and would always give anyone a hard time. He was a tough dad who expected a lot from but was extremely proud of his kids.
He loved riding his Harley but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
Tim truly loved being “Papa” to his grandkids; he would show them the dump trucks he drove; take them on lawnmower rides and taking them out for ice cream slushes.
Tim is preceded in death by his mother Michelle Kelsey; son Walter Barbee and uncle Larry Kelsey. He is survived by his wife Raquel; daughter Amanda Barbee; son Daniel (Meghan) Barbee; grandkids Reggie, London, Walter, Teddy, Grayson and Jamison; father Leonard Kelsey; twin sister Terri (Terry)Blankenship; brothers Mike (Marla) Kelsey and Dan (Sue) Kelsey; sister Kelly Kelsey; Godson Nick Kelsey and nieces & nephews Caitlin, Annemarie, Jamie, Jakob and Brenna; as well as numerous extend family members.
Tim’s family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Sunday from 2 – 7 PM where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM with interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Memorial tributes may be made to his family via this website to help offset expenses.
