Trula Lee (Blankenship) Broyles

Trula Lee Broyles passed away March 30, 2025 in Otterbein Sunset House at the age of 86. She was born October 28, 1938 in Duff, Tennessee to George & Elsie (Hassler) Blankenship. Trula was one of ten and moved to Toledo in 1967 and was married to Thomas D. Broyles, who preceded her in death in 1987.

She was an excellent seamstress and would make blankets as well as Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren.

Trula was a devout Christian who enjoyed reading and most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Trul is preceded in death by her husband, parents and 8 siblings. She is survived by her children Ron (Sheri), Helen (Bryan) and Tommy (Kim); grandchildren Ryan (Kim), Veronica, Aime (Steve), Thomas (Abby) and Nick (Ashley); and seven great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday after 3 PM followed by services  at 6 PM. Private entombment will be held at Restlawn Cemetery.
