Vincent Antonio Furfaro

Vincent “Vinny” Antonio Furfaro, a loving and caring son, brother and friend, passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2024 at the age of 38.

Born on March 12, 1986, Vinny was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns and Notre Dame.  He spent his working days pursuing his passion for the outdoors, roofing in the summer and removing snow in the winter.  In his free time, Vinny loved to go camping and fishing, seeking adventure and solace in nature.  Those around him felt Vinny’s warmth and generosity, as he was always willing to help anyone in need.  Survived by his mother, Rose Ullery; stepfather, Kevin Ullery Sr.; brothers, Stevie Ulrich and Kevin Ullery, Jr.; grandparents, Marilyn Furfaro, Sebastian and Amelia Salas; aunt, Vicky and Gary Bergfeld; uncles, John Furfaro, Bill and Darlene Furfaro; and his extended family, Tonya and Dusty Robertson, their children, Blake, Breonna, Brendon, and Dakota, who played a vital role in his recovery.  Vinny’s life was not without its challenges, as he bravely battled addiction.  We are forever thankful for your love and support that helped Vinny achieve 5 year of sobriety.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Furfaro; grandfather, Frank Furfaro; grandmother, Alice Salas; aunts, Colleen and Sally Furfaro and uncle, Gary Furfaro. 

Rest in peace Vinny.  Your strength and resilience in the face of adversity will never be forgotten.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremanisville Rd. Thursday after 3 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6 PM. Memorial tributes may be made to his family via this website to help offset expenses.
