Yvonne Cecile (Michalak) Buckley

Yvonne Cecile Buckley passed away on March 6, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio after a long battle with cancer.  She was born August 12, 1957 in Toledo and was a 1975 graduate of Woodward HighSchool. 

Yvonne worked at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in the Radiology Department for many years before her retirement.

She enjoyed camping with her husband, Sean, who she was married to for 41 years.  Yvonnne enjoed spending  time crafting items for decoration and gifts.  She was very proud of her Polish hertiage and could be found making perogies for family and friends several times a year.  Yvonne  was an avid University of Michigan Wolverines fan and enjoyed watching them play.

Yvonne is survived by her loving husband, Sean Buckley;  sister Donna (Don) Moore of El Paso, TX; and many brother-in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Michalak, sister, Lorrie Michalak and brother, Rich Michalak.

Her Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Friday from 4 – 7 PM and Saturday after 10 AM at  Historic St. Patrick’s Church 130 Avondale Ave, Toledo followed by Funeral Mass at 11 AM.
